I decided to put Bill O'Reilly and Stephen R. Covey to my twitter feed.  I decided to add Bill O'Reilly to my twitter feed because he is an expert on news both political and social.  He has his own news program on FOX News channel and is the most popular news pundit for conservative Americans.  This is ironic considering the fact that he is a registered member of the independent party. In fact, his show is watched more than any other news program on any other channel for over twelve years.  It shows how a large amount of Americans agree with his views on politics.  His show has run for many years and I believe he has tried to keep as fair and balanced view on the news. Well, as much as a pundit on FOX can, but nonetheless he is a good reporter.  Since he tries to put no spin on the news he calls his show “the No-Spin Zone”.  He has also written a number of books on politics and culture in America.  Among the book he has written are: Culture Warrior and Killing Lincoln.  Both have been best sellers.  Culture Warrior was the New York Times number one bestseller list for non-fiction.  Another one of his book, which I have read when I was in middle school, is the O’Reilly Factor for Kids.  I found a lot of insightful things in his book.  Bill has a masters degree in Broadcast Journalism and has a second masters degree in Public Administration which he earned from Harvard’s school of Government.
I chose Dr. Stephen R. Covey for a different reason.  Stephen R. Covey is a well-known motivational speaker and writer.  I like books like "How to win Friends and Influence People,” which is the go to book to help yourself in your social and business life.  They really speak to me.  Stephen Covey has written a number of successful books on how a person can improve him or herself and make a difference, just like Dale Carnegie.  His most popular book is "7 Habits of Highly Effective People."  It focuses on how we need to align our values with universal and timeless principles.  It has been named the 1# most influential book of the twentieth century.  Including all of his books, he has sold millions of copies. “7 habits” has sold over 25 million copies worldwide.  He later goes on to expand on “the 7 habits” and writes a book about the “8th Habit.”  Covey has been recognized in Time Magazine as one of the top 25 most influential people in America.  Dr. Covey studied and graduated from Harvard University earning his MBA.  He afterwards earned eight honorary doctorate degrees and has earned the International Entrepreneur of the Year Award.  He also established an organization whose purpose is to help individuals and businesses productivity.  Also, on a side note, the Sikh religion award him with the “International Man of Peace Award” which is interesting considering that he is not a member of that religion.

  1. That's cool that you're following deep people on Twitter. What kinds of comments do they post? How is it getting information in 140 characters or less?
